Transfer News: Manchester United close on signing Guendogan from Borussia Dortmund

Manchester United might be close on signing their first player in summer transfer window, according to some sources Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Guendogan agree terms with Manchester United. Guendogan has been heavily linked with the Premiership especial with the Arsenal and second Manchester club City. But according to German sources player wish is to play on Old Trafford for Manchester United.

24 years old midfielder has contract with Borussia Dortmund until the next year, but it’s clearer now that after Jürgen Klopp resign from coach place that Borussia will lose some key players.  Manchester United will pay around 30 million euros for Guendogan services in the upcoming season. Guendogan could be joining another Borussia Dortmund players that might join Dortmund to United. It’s not a secret that Louis van Gaal needs a new central defenders and that Borussia Mats Hummels is on the tops of the list. Hummels already suggest that he will be leaving Borussia on the summer and give a hint that Manchester United might be his new destination. Guendogan who arrived in Borussia Dortmund from Nuremberg in season 2011/2012 played 111 games for Dortmund team and scored 12 goals with 13 assists. Guendogan would fit perfect for the veteran role of Michael Carrick, we see several times this season how Carrick is important player for United. While he was on injury list van Gaal tried Blind on his place even at one time Rooney played but that didn’t solve the problem.

Manchester United is trying to sign one more player before the official transfer window even begins. PSV winger Memphis Depay is also on United wish list, but van Gaal said on the conference before the Sunday game against Everton that he got a lot of relationship with player and that he can’t buy all the players that he coached.
