Soccer Rumors: Speculations about a Hazard-Bale swap emerge

Soccer News and Rumors:

Eden Hazard has been chosen as the 2015 PFA Player of the Year, and Chelsea fans have been more than happy from this event. However, the fact that the previous two winners of this award – Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale – have left their Premier League clubs makes us think whether the same will happen with the Belgium international. According to a couple of sources, Real Madrid is ready to give whatever it takes to land Hazard in the summer transfer window, and that includes giving up Gareth Bale.

It’s a bit strange to see how Real Madrid is ready to give up a player for which they paid a colossal amount of money. Furthermore, Bale has been terrific last season, scoring goals in both finals in which the Whites played – the Copa del Rey and the UEFA Champions League finals. It is true that the former Tottenham Hotspur player hasn’t been in top form this season, but he should be given a chance.

It’s tough to disagree that Chelsea would be happy to have Bale in their lineup, but the question is – are they ready to give up Hazard? The question is – probably not. Chelsea and their manager, Jose Mourinho, have stated a couple of times that the Belgium international isn’t going anywhere. Furthermore, Hazard himself has stated that he has no intentions of leaving London – “No, I’m staying.”

As a conclusion, it can be said that this swap probably won’t happen – Hazard doesn’t want to leave his current club, and even Gareth Bale isn’t tempting enough for the Blues. Chelsea is one of those clubs that has enough finances to resist Real Madrid. However, even if he doesn’t get transferred to Chelsea, it won’t be surprising if we see Bale playing in the Premier League next season.
