After months of speculation and hours of brain-busting rumors that have been linking the Manchester United goal-keeper with the Spanish Giants Real Madrid, it seems as now is the time that the transfer rumors will be reaching their pinnacle. With just 3 months remaining in the official opening of summer transfer window, the wheel of the transfer rumors is moving at full speed now.
However, for Manchester United fans who enjoyed a brilliant summer last season with the arrival of high profile players at the helm, this summer might prove to be a little different. And if believed on various news that are circulating in the Spanish media outlets, it is looking more than likely that David De Gea would be departing for the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
If the Respected football journalist Josep Pedrerol is believed to be true, than the Spaniard has all but told the Spanish fans of the first signing of the LOS BLANCOS for the summer 2015. And while Manchester United fans won’t like it, Pederol has stated in clear words that the Spanish stopper has agreed to join his boyhood favorite club in the summer.
The club considered many options for the goalkeeping situation but have decided on De Gea,”
said Pedrerol.
When asked about the situation of David de Gea, here is what Pedrerol had to say:
“And David de Gea is clear… he wants to be the Real Madrid goalkeeper.
“One of the problems had been the future (or not) of Iker Casillas but this is no longer an impediment to the signing of De Gea.
However, balancing the hopes of the Real Madrid folklore, Pedrerol has made it clear that both clubs are yet to reach an agreement. So whether it would be a swap deal or transfer of cash from the Spanish Capital to England, both the clubs are yet to agree upon the mechanism.
‘’Only an agreement between the clubs is lacking.”
Thus, with his contract expiring next season at the Old Trafford, the price tag od David de Gea is expected to be in the region of 25million pounds should he decides to move in the summer.
