This interview of Dybala, which is given by him to Gazzetta Dello Sport, has come at a time when rumors are circulating that Juventus have already bid 33-million-euros for his services to Palermo. Thus, at a time during which both clubs are engaged in meaningful talks, the timing of the Interview couldn’t have been much better.
“I love Italy. This is the country that made me famous and I would love to stay in Serie A,” he said.
“There are some big teams out there who don’t play in Champions League and I can’t deny that I’d love to play in Europe’s most prestigious competition.”
So with the talks ongoing and Palermo owner having previously declared that he would sell his prized asset to the highest bidder, Chelsea – even with their financial resources, can fall behind Juventus in the race to sign the Argentine.
