Soccer Rumors: Juventus reject a €70 million bid by Barcelona for Paul Pogba

The transfer news surrounding Paul Pogba keep on coming. The latest one is that Barcelona has offered Juventus €70 million for the midfielder, but the Old Lady has rejected the amount. The official statement is that the Italian team doesn’t wish to part ways with Pogba and won’t do it anytime soon. Nevertheless, there are some other reports that state the exact opposite.


There are rumors that Juventus has already made an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain, which Edinson Cavani will be playing in the Serie A next season. Nevertheless, according to the report this transfer will be realized only if Juve finds a way to sell Pogba. Because of this, it is strange that the Italian team has refused to make a deal with Barcelona. It is possible that Juventus might want more for the midfielder, as experts say that he is worth about €80-90 million. It will be almost impossible for Juve to replace Pogba if he is sold, but the potential amount of that they will receive will surely help them recover fast.


Pogba is currently just 22-years-old and is wanted by almost every big team around Europe. The list includes Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea. The club that will be able to get will receive a freakishly talented player that has amazing abilities both in offense and defense. Furthermore, the fact that Pogba will continue to improve as the gathers experience is also important.


Everybody can be sure that Pogba won’t be sold fast, as Juventus will look for the best deal they can get during the summer transfer window. However, it is very unlikely that the midfielder will remain will Juventus for the next campaign.
