Italy, Seria A: bankrupted Parma manage to give Juventus only second defeat this season in Seria A

Probably the biggest story in European soccer today was defeat of Juventus from Parma. Why is this so surprising, well if you know that Parma bankrupted and that their players didn’t received a pay check during entire season and they beat Seria A leader.

Jose Mauri scored the only goal in the game

The only goal in the game scored young Argentina midfielder Jose Mauri in 60’. Earlier this season Juventus demolish Parma in 7-0 win, yes Massimiliano Allegri rest some of key players for the UEFA Champions League against Monaco strikers Alvaro Morata and Carlos Tevez, their mastermind Andreas Pirlo and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. But no matter that Parma victory is true miracle for their fans, especial if you know that they had to give up two games due to their financial problems. For Juventus this is their second defeat this season in Seria A, Genoa beat them almost six months ago 1-0. Parma is playing very good recently they manage to get 7 points from last three game, that was almost the same amount as how much they manage to get in 26 rounds.

Allegri we deserved to lost the game

Juventus is still on first place with a huge 14 points lead in front Roma who is playing tomorrow against Torino. Parma on other side is still last team in Seria A with 10 points behind the place that secure their spot in Seria A in next season.  Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri said for official club Twitter page that today was an important match, but his team didn’t understand that. That they didn’t control the match and they deserve to lose a game.

In the next round for seven days Juventus will play a derby game against Lazio while Parma will go against Genoa.
