LA Liga: How will FC Barcelona lineup Vs Valencia

LA Liga Match Preview

If that draw last week brought Barcelona back to the mortal level of football, their scintillating display against Paris Saint Germain has put them at a level above all. In a week of Champions League football where all the other big teams struggled for goals, Barcelona moon-walked past Paris Saint Germain showing their dispensable strike-force.

With Valencia their next opponents in the LA Liga, Barcelona cannot afford to relax a muscle on Saturday night. With just 2 points separating Barcelona from the 2nd place Real Madrid, anything less than a win will raise doubts on their supremacy on LA Liga.

Talking about team news and Barcelona will welcome back Dani Alves to their starting lineup on Saturday. Having missed their trip to France due to a European suspension, Alves is available for selection once again. He is likely to replace Montoya on the right wing.

Lionel Messi has managed 3-hat-tricks against Valencia, he hasn’t managed more against any other side.

While at one hand Barcelona would be welcoming Alves back from the sidelines, they will be sweating over the fitness of another prodigy of their own: Andres Iniesta. While he made comeback against PSG after recovering from the back injury that he sustained in the EL-Classico, Iniesta stretched off with a sore back at the Parc des Princes. And with his fitness still a question mark, Xavi might start from the offset for Barcelona.

While Barcelona would have their own objective to infer depending upon the outcome, Valencia might enjoy the 3rd spot if they would be able to do the unthinkable. With just 1 point separating them from the 3rd place Atletico Madrid, anything less than a defeat will raise their chances of finishing above last season’s LA Liga Champions.

Here is how FC Barcelona are expected to lineup against Valencia: -

Real Madrid lineup:

Bravo – Alves – Pique – Mascherano – Alba – Busquets – Xavi – Rakitic – Neymar – Suarez – Messi.

FC Barcelona VS Valencia will take place at the Camp Nou Stadium, on Saturday 18th April.
