Today we saw a draw of Women MVM EHF Final Four. Final Four will be playing on 9th and 10th of April in Budapest and clubs that manage to qualify for F4 are Larvik (Norway), Dinamo-Sinara (Russia), WHC Vardar SCBT (Macedonia) and Buducnost (Montenegro). Difference between this year F4 and last year F4 is that there is no last year title holder Gyori Audi who gets kick out in quarter-final from Vardar SCBT. Also two Scandinavian team change places, last year in F4 we got FC Midtjylland (Denmark) and this year their place took Larvik IL from Norway.
Buducnost beat Vardar in last three head-to-head game
This year draw gives us same last year semi-finals between Buducnost and Vardar SCBT, while Larvik will go against Dinamo-Sinara. Vardar and Buducnost are without doubt one of strongest teams in women handball in Europe currently and this game will be final before the finals. Vardar and Buducnost already played in group stage this season where Buducnost was better overall, beating them 23-17 and drawing the second one 24-24. Buducnost was also better last year in F4 semi-finals where they manage to beat Vardar after extra times 22-20.
Return of 2011 Champions League Champion
Other semi-final pair is between Larvik and Dinamo-Sinara. After last year disappointing third place in main round Larvik has strong comeback on handball scene. Winner of women Champions League from 2011 was the only team that manages to get 100% in main round of Champions league. Dinamo-Sinara on other hand might be though opponent for them. This will be their eight game against each other, Larvik is better with seven wins while Dinamo-Sinara won only two times.
We also found out the time-table for the upcoming final four, first semi-final will begin in 14:15 while second one will go immediately after about around 16:45. Second day in match for third place will start at 14:30 and finals will play at 17:00 all times are in local time.
