Soccer Rumors: Robin van Persie could leave Manchester United sooner than anyone expected, Juventus and Inter Milan interested in him

Soccer News and Rumors:

Who would have thought that the man who saved Manchester United in countless situations would be offered money to leave the club? Who would have thought that Robin van Persie would be the player that is going to leave the Red Devils after the current season? Not a lot of people, I suppose. However, it has been reported that the Dutch striker will be offered £5 million to leave Manchester United before the end of his current contract. The reason for this decision is that the team’s management will be looking to sign new players during the summer transfer window.

The 31-year-old has a year and two months left on his contract, but it seems that he will not play until its end. However, there are a lot of clubs around Europe that have shown interest in Van Persie, which is quite normal, given his abilities as a striker. The two clubs that have monitored the Dutch player the most are Juventus and Inter Milan. Persie is currently receiving £250 000 per week, but he will definitely need to take a pay cut if he wishes to join any of those clubs.

In my opinion, there will be a lot more clubs that will fight to sign Robin van Persie during the summer, as he is a proven scorer that is still capable of playing great football. Then main problem about the Dutch striker is that he gets injured a bit too often. Besides that, he is still one of the best when it comes to scoring goals.

I expect Manchester United to offer Van Persie really the £5 million in order for him to leave the team and it’s very possible that he will take them, given the fact that he may find himself mainly on the bench next season. Furthermore, if the rumors are true, the Dutch striker may soon be joining Juventus or Inter Milan, which will be a great boost for either club.
