Soccer Rumors: Real Madrid favorites to sign Danilo

Soccer Rumors and News:

There have been a lot of speculations surrounding Danilo and where he will play next season, but they could soon come to an end. There is a rumor that that Porto’s player has already “verbally agreed” to join Real Madrid during the summer of 2015. Manchester United was actively trying to sign Danilo, but various reports have been stating that the Brazilian has rejected the Red Devils. It seems that the preferred destination for the current Porto player is Spain, rather than England. Furthermore, it has been rumored that representatives of the player have already met with Madrid officials in order to talk about a transfer.

There is buyout clause in the current contract of Danilo at a price of €50 million, which Manchester United was ready to give if the Brazilian made it clear that he wants to join them. However, as he made his intentions clear, the Porto player can now move to Real Madrid in the summer for the price of €20 million. The current contract of the defended is until next season’s end, but he will surely drop value if he doesn’t sign a new contract or leave Porto during the summer window.

Danilo is a very offensive minded player, which makes him perfect for the Blancos. However, there is one problem – if Daniel Carvajal continues to improve at a high tempo, could the Brazilian be benched? There is a possibility this may happen, however, the other situation is equally likely to occur. Carvajal could see his minutes drop drastically and this could be a big problem regarding his development. Nevertheless, Madrid’s coach, Carlo Ancelotti is widely known for knowing how to control egos and playing time, so the Italian may be able to find a way and make both players happy. Moreover, Carvajal could even benefit from Danilo’s arrival, as it would make the Spaniard work harder than ever in order to impress the coach and earn his minutes on the field.
