Michael Biegler might be coming back to Bundesliga; Manaskov is going back to Macedonia at the end of season

Handball News:

Michael Biegler is coming back to Bundesliga or maybe it’s better to say it’s close to coming back. According to some sources current Polish national team coach is close to taking over coach position at Hamburger. Talks between Polish Handball Federation and HSV official are almost done and according to some sources there is no obstacles for Biegler to take the place on HSV bench. Probably the biggest concern from Polish Handball Federation is that job in HSV don’t affect Biegler duties as the main coach for Polish National Team. Biegler took the place in 2012 from Bogdan Wenta. On his first big tournament World Championship in 2013 that played in Spain they took 9th place. Next year on European Championship in Denmark they were slightly better ant take 6th place. The best results they do in the finished World Championship in Qatar when they take the bronze medal. Next year is Poland will host European Championship and fans are having high expectation from that tournament.

HSG Wetzlar announces earlier that they will be signing new contract with their newcomer Dejan Manaskov. But now we got information that Manaskov is going to leave HSG Wetzlar on summer and go back to Macedonia to join another ambition club Vardar. Manaskov join HSG Wetzlar in February on loan from HC Metalurg. Wetzlar general manager Bjorn Seipp said that they sign Manaskov as replacement for injured Maximilian Holst. Seipp said that Manaskov integrated with the team well and had remarkable performance, but unfortunately player wants to play EHF Velux Champions League. And that is the main reason Manaskov didn’t sign a new 2 years contract with them. Seipp said that there is no need for signing new players after Manaskov leaves since Holst will be back and take his usual place.
