Ahead of the next weekend’s Euro Championships Qualifier against Lithuania after which England will travel to Turin to take on Italy in a friendly game, English manager Roy Hodgson has named his squad for the upcoming matches.
Having won all of the 4 games in the Euro Championships ahead of the next weekend’s fixture, England will be going against Lithuania in a confident mood. Having scored 11 goals in these matches with just 1 against, Roy Hodgson’s men are destined to be in France in the summer of 2016.
While there are some shocks in the 28-men squad that the former Liverpool manager has nominated, some players have earned a deserved call from the National team. Only 1 player has been included from Chelsea while Manchester United have 5 players that will board the plane.
Talking about Liverpool and although Brendan Rodgers’ squad has a barricade of English player at the helm, 4 players have been selected from the Liverpool squad. Manchester City also share the honors with 2 players being named.
