Mourinho thinks that Loic Remy and Didier Drogba are more than good replacements for injured Diego Costa

Soccer News:

After last round disappointing draw against Southampton, this weekend Chelsea get back to victories against Hull (3-2) but it was harder than expected. But maybe what is more disturbing for all Chelsea fans are injury of their main attacker Diego Costa. In the game against Hull Diego Costa scored 2nd goal for Chelsea that was his 19 goals in this season. But in 75’ Jose Mourinho had to substitute him due to hamstring injury, Loic Remy enter the field and it took him only 2 minutes to score third and winning goal for Chelsea.Jose Mourinho is confident that his squad can secure Premiership title, first since 2010, without their attacker Diego Costa. Jose Mourinho said:

“Costa has a problem, no doubts about it. The team needs goals and a striker comes off with 15 minutes to go. He has experience with the hamstring injuries and he knows clearly that he has an injury but if he cannot play the next game in 15 days against Stoke we have Remy, we have Drogba.”

We still didn’t get any confirmation of severity of Diego Costa injury but it’s quite possible that Costa will miss more than one Chelsea game. Diego Costa with 19 goals and Eden Hazard with 11 goals scored almost 50% of Chelsea goals in Premiership, so all Chelsea fans will be waiting for first medical reports about Diego Costa injury. With the win in this round Chelsea keep the six point’s difference nine games before the end in front of Manchester City. Due to international games next game Chelsea is playing against Stoke city on 4th of April.
