Manuel Pellegrino said that Manchester City player would never surround referee like Chelsea players did against Paris Saint-Germain

Soccer News:

After the return game of UEFA Champions League between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain everyone start attacking Chelsea and its play style. But probably the most notorious seen that almost every newspaper and media in soccer word talks about is the red card of Paris Saint-Germain main star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

After the foul Chelsea players surrounds referee and demanded a red card almost like Ibrahimovic break the leg of Oscar. Manchester City boss current biggest Chelsea opponent in Premiership Manuel Pellegrino also have something to say on that matter. Pellegrino said that you will never see something like that from Manchester City players. He said that it’s ok for players to discuss with referee about some decision but only for a moment. Pellegrino said that he doesn’t think that Mourinho prepared his team for that kind of “win”; he said that all managers prepare their teams for the win but they do that on different ways. Off course Pellegrino didn’t say directly that he was thinking about Chelsea and Mourinho but it was more than easy to recognize about whom he is talking about. At the end of interview Pellegrino said that while you are winning than style doesn’t matter, but you start losing then there is a lot of criticism and that is not acceptable.

Who knows maybe Pellegrino didn’t talk about Chelsea, maybe his critics was about his own players and their behavior on the field. Manchester City is similar to Chelsea in many ways so there is no really difference between these two teams. But it’s most likely that Pellegrino wanted to get some weights on Chelsea title run in Premiership and maybe they will lost some points and give Manchester City another chance for Premier league title.
