With the end of season coming closer, or summer transfer window, rumors about who will be leaving Real Madrid are going wild. But one player from Real Madrid is without doubt leaving Real Madrid in the summer, Germany defensive midfielder Sami Khedira is throw in second plan behind Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
Many of the clubs would love to see Sami Khedira in their ranks, but clubs that are in advantage are Bundesliga clubs especial Bayern Munich and Schalke 04 who already confirmed talks with the player. In his latest interview for Spain newspapers Khedira said that it will be hard for him to leave Real Madrid.
“I will give everything for this shirt until the last day of my contract, there should be no doubt about that.”
Sami Khedira joined Real Madrid in season 2010/2011 from VfB Stuttgart for 14 million euros. For Real Madrid in five seasons he manages to get 161 appearances and scored 9 goals. This season Khedira manage to get only 17 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions.
In season 2013/2014 Khedira manage to rupture his ligament, that injury put him away from pitch for almost six months. Just one year earlier Real Madrid bought Luka Modric from Tottenham to play with Semi Khedira as couple of defensive midfielders. After bad injury and question from Real Madrid medical department about future of top play from Sami Khedira, Real Madrid bought Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich in season 2014/2015. That was clear sign that Semi Khedira is free to move to another club. With his contract expiring on 30 June this year, Khedira is able to sign for another club without any transfer fee.
