SEHA League: Meshkov against Nexe and PPD Zagreb against Tatran battle for last two places to join Veszprem and Vardar on SEHA League Final Four

SEHA Legue:


With tonight’s game between Borac m:tel and Nexe regular season of SEHA League will be over. Tonight match will not change anything about playoff; the only thing that could change is Borac m:tel final place on the league table. If Borac m:tel manages to win tonight then they will finish on 8th place instead of 9th place where they are now. Croatian team Nexe has already secured their place in playoff. After 18 rounds final standing (without these game) looks like this:

SEHA Playoff is playing on specific way; first two teams (MKB-MVM Veszprem and Vardar) are going directly to final four that is holding in Veszprem (Hungary). For the other two spots we will watch a battle between Meshkov Brest vs. Nexe and PPD Zagreb vs. Tatran Presov, those games is on schedule for 25 March. Meshkov Brest and Tatran are in small advantages since they already beat their opponents two times in SEHA League. Meshkov Brest beat Nexe 29-26 and 28-25 while Tatran Presov was better than PPD Zagreb 25-21 and 24-23. Once we get the last two teams for final four then on 27 March we will watch games between winner of game between Meshkov and Nexe will play against Vardar and winner of game between PPD Zagreb and Tatran will go against MKB-MVM Veszprem. Final four will be closing two days later with the game for first and third place.


In group stage neither team has manage to get all 18 wins, closes to that was MKB-MVM Veszprem who manage to get 17-1 record (only loss against Vardar 28-21). Veszprem are also holding best defense and best attack titles, they received only 413 goals (average 22.94 per game) and they scored 561 goals (average 31.6 per game). Radoslav Antl (Tatran Presov) is league best scorer with 96 goals and most accurate with 86% (96/112).
