Kaka proud to beat both Messi and Ronaldo for Ballon d'Or in 2007, but he doesn’t think about getting back to Europe

One of the biggest soccer derbies in the world is behind us. Barcelona won 2-1 against Real Madrid and went on 4 points lead on Primera division table. Former Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year winner Kaka said that he is sad about the loss of his former club Real Madrid.


Kaka or full name Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite or Ricardo Kaka was one of best midfielder player on top of his career. Kaka played for only two clubs in Europe AC Milan and Real Madrid, but Kaka become legend playing for AC Milan. Currently Kaka is playing in MSL for Orlando City. In the latest interview Kaka said that he is proud on himself for beating both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in 2007. Kaka said that Ballon d’Or is won every year by Messi or Ronaldo and back then he manage to beat them both. AC Milan had miracle season in 2006/7 that ends with them beating Liverpool 2-1 in UEFA Champions League final game. After that they go ahead and win UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla (3-1) and at the end win FIFA World Club Cup beating Boca Juniors 4-2 in finals.


Kaka played together in Real Madrid from 2009 until 2013. Kaka thinks that both of played helped to improve each other and that Ronaldo is excellent team-mate to have by. Kaka didn’t shine in Real Madrid as he did in AC Milan, Jose Mourinho was his coach at that time and Kaka was mostly warming the bench. But when asked about his ex-coach he only has good words about him. Kaka said that he is happy to have such a great opportunity to work with him (Mourinho), since he thinks that he is one of best coaches in the world.


Kaka joined Orlando city last year, but he said that his friends from Europe calling him all the time to come back to and play in Europe. His ex-teammates from club and national team are trying to lure him back into Premiership (Chelsea or Arsenal).  Kaka won almost all trophies in Europe; with AC Milan he won Seria A (2003/2004), UEFA Champions League (2006/7), UEFA Super Cup (2007) and FIFA Club World Cup (2007). After he moved to Real Madrid he won Primera Division (2011/12) and Spain Super Cup (2012). Kaka was also member of Brazil national team that won FIFA World Cup in Korea and Japan in 2002.
