Soccer Rumors: Manchester United will try to get Gareth Bale and sale Angel Di Maria

Soccer News and Rumors:

A lot of trade rumors have been surrounding both Angel Di Maria and Gareth Bale lately, and the latest one is sending Bale to Manchester if the team could find a way to sell Di Maria. It is widely believed that both superstars are slightly unhappy at the moment – Di Maria finding it hard to adapt to life in England while Bale has been criticized a bit too often in Madrid.

“Di Maria has shown little of the form which made him one of Real Madrid’s Galacticos and it’s believed he and his family are unsettled after being the victims of an attempted break in at their home earlier in the year. Last week the Argentinian, his shaken wife Jorgelina Cardoso and one-year-old daughter Mia moved into former Old Trafford player Phil Neville’s £4 million 45th floor apartment in the middle of Manchester. They are only renting the property because Di Maria is understood to be contemplating his future – something the club are well aware of. It means the attempt to bring in Real Madrid’s former Tottenham forward Bale has gone into overdrive. United, who will have to smash the club record fee of £59.7 million which brought Di Maria to Old Trafford to have any chance of landing Bale, won’t take no for an answer. Even though Bale regularly pronounces that he doesn’t want to leave the Bernabeu for a return to the Premier League, United feel they can persuade him to change his mind if they can agree on a deal with the European champions”

It’s a bit hard that to believe that this is a real life scenario, but it’s not so insane when you think about it. If Real Madrid actually finds a way to sign another superstar during this summer transfer window, Bale could be on the way out. The former Tottenham forward has indeed played a bit weak this season, especially when we compare his current form to last year. Let’s say actually that Real is ready to sale Bale – can the Red Devils find a buyer for Di Maria in order to sign the Scottish? Di Maria hasn’t played as he was expected to during this season, and that could be a problem for United.

However, there is another detail to consider – if Bale gets out of his slump and starts playing like last season, will Madrid sell him? In my opinion the answer is no – he is a world-class player that is very hard to replace and Real won’t hurry to sell him. I expect the summer transfer window to be very interesting, but I doubt that Bale or Di Maria will change their clubs.
