When Real Madrid dropped points for the 2nd time in as many weeks against mid-table opposition, it was thought that there would be a backlash from the Real Madrid faithful. Sitting atop of the LA Liga before the last game-week and seeing Barcelona skip them to come on top, Real Madrid fans were left to rue the missed opportunities by their super-stars.
However, looking at the result of the poll that was carried out by the Spanish Newspaper AS, the Real Madrid folklore have urged Carlo Ancelloti to take extreme steps in order to over-turn the fortunes of their team.
Bale should be axed according to the majority of the furious Real Madrid folklore
The survey consisted of 3 questions and the first one asked Real Madrid fans to give their opinion regarding the performances of Gareth Bale. Even though Bale manages a goal every 2 matches for Real Madrid since his move, 46.1 per cent of the Real Madrid folklore advised the Real Madrid manager to drop the Welshman.
In a survey carried out by the Spanish Newspaper AS, 46.1% of the fans advised Carlo Ancelloti to drop Gareth Bale from the starting 11.
The second question prompted the opinion regarding Cristiano Ronaldo. While this is a sensitive topic amongst the Real Madrid folklore, they held nothing barred as they bashed their darling in a poll in which 32 percent of the fans advised Carlo Ancelotti to drop the Portuguese in the ‘’vast interest of the team’’.
The 3rd question, like the first two, was about another component of the BBC. However, astonishingly, Karim Benzema was the most favorite of the 3 as he got just 16 percent votes against his place.
While these types of polls aren’t heard of in the English soil, Spanish Leagues have become a dart-board for such damning polls, even in the past. In addition to the aforementioned questions which were asked of them, Real Madrid fans advised Carlo Ancelloti to swap his formation from 4-3-3 to 4-4-2. While the former is the same formation that helped Real Madrid win LA DECIMA last season, Real Madrid fans seems to have fed up with the ‘’constant’’ failures of this team.
