Real Madrid didn’t not enter well in 2015 especial in terms of gameplay and player behavior. But they are still first in Primera Division and they are doing well in UEFA Champions League. A lot of fans think that with the return of Croatian midfielder Luka Modric Real Madrid gameplay problems will get solved.
Luka Modric train with Real Madrid for almost 10 days and newspapers are toying with the possible date of his return. Yesterday Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti said that he will not rush the return of Luka Modric on the field. Ancelotti said that he will probably send Luka Modric on the pitch in return match of UEFA Champions League against Schalke 04 on 10 March. Newspapers especial Marca announce that Modric could be in starting IX this Sunday in the game against Villarreal but Ancelotti denied that information, he said that Modric will not start in first IX or even be on the bench for that game. Ancelotti said that last week Modric train with the team but for the return on the field it needs a little more training. Luka Modric is on team injury list since November when he get injured playing for Croatian national team against Italy.
Earlier this month Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was furious on player who where celebrate Ronaldo birthday after loss against city rival Atletico Madrid. And now Real players are in another “birthday celebration” scandal. According to some newspapers Portugal defender Pepe celebrate his birthday on Thursday in one Madrid restaurant and some players stay longer than they supposed to stay. Two players that get catch by paparazzi leaving the restaurant were Sergio Ramos and Jese Rodriguez; they left around 5 in the morning.
Carlo Ancelotti tried to defend his players saying that it is good for team moral to have player hang out, but sources close to Spain media says that these players awaits big punish because of that.
