Soccer Rumors: Chelsea wishes to part ways with Andre Schurrle?

Soccer News

Lately there have been a lot of rumors surrounding the Chelsea wing and German national player, Andre Schurrle. Jose Mourinho hasn’t been using the talented player a lot this season and there have been numerous reports that Schurrle is quite unhappy from his role as a reserve on the team. However, he hasn’t gave a lot of reason to Mourinho to put him in the starting lineup and his weak form is one of the reasons why it wouldn’t be much of a concern for Chelsea to part ways with him.

At the moment, Wolfsburg is the team that has shown the biggest interest in signing the German national and if they are able to do so, that will certainly strengthen their hopes for reaching a place near the top of the Bundesliga table. A lot of sources have been reporting lately, that the transfer talks are going pretty well and Schurrle could joining Wolfsburg as soon as next week. However, the sports director of Wolfsburg, Klaus Alofs has recently denied the rumors that the Wolves have already offered Chelsea 20 million pounds in order to lure Schurrle to “Volkswagen Arena”. Nevertheless, Alofs didn’t deny the fact that Wolfsburg has been showing large interest in signing the German national player. Wolfsburg has been playing quite well this season, but if they manage to add Schurrle to the team that would definitely be a move in a positive direction.

For Chelsea this wouldn’t be the first time when they would part ways with a player of such calibre, as we can all remember what happened to Juan Mata last season. However, it has been reported if a transfer is going to happen, that would be a result mainly because Schurrle has expressed desire to leave the team.
