1- Kamran Akmal:

Ryder wasn’t included in the 30 man preliminary squad, let alone the final 15 for World Cup.

3- Kevin Pietersen:

Here is a player who has been in hot water with his board for almost a year now. Another hard hitting and aggressive batter, Pollard has been sidelined due to somewhat ambiguous reasons from the Mega Event. WICB has faced intense criticism after keeping out the deadly duo, Pollard and Bravo from their World Cup squad.

7- Yuvraj Singh:

After playing a vital part in India success in 2011 World Cup, life has been somewhat difficult for this left handed Batsman. After recovering from Cancer disease, Yuvraj made his comeback in Indian Cricket, but it remain short lived. So he’ll be taking part in local tournament when Dhoni and co plays in the World Cup.

8- J. Neesham:

A player whose exclusion came as a surprise to many, Neesham was a part of Kiwis squad which managed a series victory over Pakistan last December. However, that didn’t save Neesham from facing the axe.

9- U. Gul:

Due to injury concerns, Umar Gul is another key figure who won’t be a part of Pakistan squad next month. He was in contention to be included in the Mega Event, but his repetition of injuries rues his chances in the end.
