Michael Biegler is in problems before their clash against Croatia in quarterfinals

World Handball Championship:

Poland manage to beat Sweden in eight-finals to earn their place in quarterfinals. Today they will go against Croatia. But Poland coach Michael Biegler has a lot of problems on his mind.

Biegler expect a very hard game against Croatia and he hope that his team will take revenge for their last defeat from Croatia. Biegler said that games against Croatia are always hard because both of teams know very well each other. Biegler thinks that the main problems for his team might be one day less for rest then Croatia and probably medical conditions of his players.

Before their eight-finals game against Sweden Biegler had several problems with injuries. He said that Mariusz Jurkiewicz will probably start the game against Croatia while Piotr Chrapkowski and Robert Orzechowski are under question mark to play against Croatia. Biegler also mention that Krzysztof Lijewski will not be able to play against Croatia, which will be a big blow for Poland team. Lijewski is the only player with serious injury in Poland squad. First he manage to injury his knee and then he get muscular rupture, so his chances to play against Croatia are slim.

Biegler expect even harder game then the game against Sweden, he mention Croatia game against Brazil in eight-finals. Biegler said that it was a crazy but even game, but in key moment’s Croatian players shown why are they one of best handball players in the world. Brazil had their chances but each time when they should score they make 2-3 technical errors. If Poland wants to beat Croatia then they cannot make same mistakes like Brazil, said Biegler. When ask about their game against Sweden Biegler said that it was a good game, but that Sweden is different team without Kim Andersson.

Game between Croatia and Poland are scheduled to be played on 28 January at 15:30 GMT in Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiya Arena in Doha.
