Pep Guardiola: "We need to do better in attack and score even more."

Soccer News:

Pep Guardiola ex coach from Barcelona and current coach of German giant Bayern Munich in his last interview said that he is not happy with performance from his team. Why is this so strange you might think now, but if you look last three games from Bayern Munich in Bundesliga then average goal per game was 6 (!). They beat Hamburger 8-0, Paderborn 6-0 and FC Cologne 4-1, total 18 goals in 3 rounds.

Guardiola told the newspapers that they (Bayern Munich) need to do better in attack; he said that he is pretty satisfied with defense of his team but in attack they need to do better. Guardiola said that it is true that lately they scored a lot of goals but that is not because of their good games it was because they got good players in the team.

When asked about how he will prepare his team for the upcoming return game of UEFA Champions League he replayed that before that they need to beat Hannover. Guardiola said that Hannover and Shakhtar are two different teams and that they will prepare different for each of these games. He rejected the fact that all thoughts of Bayern players are on the return game of UEFA Champions League, he said that there are still 33 points available in Bundesliga and Wolfsburg is right behind them.

For the end of his interview newspapers asked why did he critics Franck Ribery and warn him not to take revenge in the game against Shakhtar Donetsk. Guardiola denied that he critics Ribery  he said that Franck is very emotional player and excellent footballer. But it’s not easy to play on high level if you are getting beaten during whole game and at one point emotions explode.
