Soccer Rumors: Harry Kane scouted by Real Madrid

Soccer Rumors:

Harry Kane of the Tottenham Hotspurs has been playing some magnificent football lately and it was quite expected that he would attract a lot of attention from the biggest clubs around the world. It has been reported that Real Madrid scouts have been watching the talent and that they have been impressed from his skills. Los Blancos have a bit of advantage when compared with the other big teams around Europe, as they have done a lot of business with Tottenham in the last couple of years. Gareth Bale and Luka Modric are the players that have been transferred from the Hotspurs to Real Madrid.

Kane, even though just 21 years old, has become the new leader of Tottenham and he hasn’t yet stated that he wants to leave his current team. In an interview in which he was asked whether he would remain with the Spurs, he answered:

“I don’t see why not. Tottenham are a great club on the rise. I hope we get better and I’d love to stay here for as long as possible. If I’m still here in 10 years, I’d be over the moon. A lot of players today, when they do well, they end up going to another club or moving abroad. It depends on the situation at the time but at the moment, I’m looking to be a Tottenham player for many years.”

Kane has been the brightest spot for Tottenham since the departure of Bale and the fans will surely be devastated if leaves the same way the Welshman did. Nevertheless, if the British player continues the play the way he does, it’s hard to imagine him remaining at Tottenham. It’s not like it is something impossible, but a very few stars have remained at the small clubs in which they have started they careers. However, at least for now, Tottenham seems like a great place for Kane, as it gives a lot of room to grow and be the centerpiece of team. Furthermore, the Spurs may even play in the Champions League next season if they continue winning with the same pace in the Barclay’s Premier League.
