Manchester United plays under a lot of critics by fans and ex-players

Soccer News:

Manchester United is in problems, yes they are finally in position that leads into UEFA competition but they are not playing good. United fans are not happy with the lately performances from their team and after 3-1 win against Burney they shown how unhappy they are.

United manager Louis van Gaal said that he heard disappointments from the fans and that he don’t like that because United is playing for their fans.

One of biggest critic for United plays is United legend Paul Scholes. Scholes write in his column that Louis van Gaal United is just not watchable. That Burnley was a better team in first half and United play was just pathetic. Van Gall has a small amount of players that are willing to risk and to attack the opponent, only Angel Di Maria likes to risk and to attack while the rest of United players are more concern about holding the ball then to attack opponent.

At the end of his column Scholes said that he don’t understand why Louis van Gaal is using Wayne Rooney in middle and not in attack. He said that Rooney could play on any position in team, against Burnely he finish the game as defensive midfielder, but if Van Gaal thinks that Rooney is not a better option in United attack than Van Persie or Falcao then that is a big problem for United.

Louis van Gaal quickly answers on Paul Scholes accusation. Van Gaal said that he is used to critics similar as his players are because they are all professionals. Louis van Gaal said that critics from Paul Scholes are not interest to him because Scholes think as a fan and not as a manager. As a fan he can make critics while manager would make some useful suggestions to improve their game. At the end Van Gaal said some players just don’t care about critics from ex-players.

United is currently on third place in Premiership with 47 points, five less than second Manchester City and 12 points behind leader Chelsea.
