Friday’s transfer Rumors: Paul Pogba urges Manchester United prodigy to follow his example

Manchester United transfer news:

While Manchester United are famous for producing world-class player at the helm, Paul Pogba has been an exception in this case. Leaving the Old Trafford in the summer of 2012 for the Italian club Juventus, Pogba has been a source of commiseration for the Manchester United faithful.

And if reports coming out from the Juventus training ground are believed to be true, then the Frenchman has urged another Manchester United outcast to join him at Turin in the summer transfer window.

Like Paul Pogba who wasn’t given a chance by Sir Alex to prove his credential, Andreas Pereira is the teenage prodigy whose first team chances have been few and far between, due to the lack of trust shown in him by Louis Van Gaal.

And just days after Pereira rejected a contract offer by Manchester United, Paul Pogba has come out in his desire to urge the Brazilian to follow the same path, which Pogba chose in the summer of 2012.

Currently at 19 years of age, Pereira has been furious for the lack of chances he has been provided with at Old Trafford since moving to the Theatre of dreams 3 and a half years before.

Looking at the midfield options that are currently available at Manchester United, the chances of Pereira getting first team football are pretty slim. With the veteran midfielders like Fellaini, Blind and Carrick ahead of him in the queue, the Brazilian might have to sit on the Manchester United bench with a pinch of salt.

Similar to Paul Pogba who left Manchester United after refusing to sign a new contract, Pereira might do the same to his parent club in the summer. With his contract expiring at the end of this season after a 3 and a half years at the club, the Brazilian has been chased by several of big European clubs over the last 6 months.

Adding the salt to the wounds of Manchester United faithful, Pereira revealed that Paul Pogba has advised him to leave Manchester United for Juventus as early as this summer.

I have spoken with Pogba many times, he is a good friend and he told me that I would be well served in moving to Turin, both personally and professionally, two important things for me

Thus, even though Manchester United have 4 months at their peril to tie Pereira into a new contract, the intentions of the Brazilian aren’t looking too bright for the Red devils’ faithful.
