Although the world of transfer frenzy is filled with so much drama that one become numb after being an observer for a few seasons, the current rumor which is linking Radamel Falcao to Real Madrid seems baffling to say the least.
In his time with Manchester United on loan coming from the French side AS Monaco, the Colombian has failed to impress the Red devils’ faithful as doubts over his Manchester United future mounts.
Although he was signed with much vigor by Louis Van Gaal, Falcao has failed to fortify the trust that Van Gaal enshrined in him from day 1.
Amongst the strike force of Manchester United this season which also contains the likes of rookies i.e. Wilson, Falcao has just managed 4 goals, 4 less than the veteran Wayne Rooney who has spent most of this season on the attacking midfield role. Thus, as far as his performances are concerned, the attitude of the Colombian – catalyzed with his injury record – have all worked against Radamel Falcao.
Although Hernandez is currently on loan at the LOS BLANCOS, manager Carlo Ancelloti has virtually showed no faith in the Mexican and thus, has limited him to the bench for the most part of this season.
However, the case of Radamel Falcao would be totally different as the Colombian has a vast experience of playing in LA Liga. While he was a famous prodigy before coming to Spain, he earned the fame playing for Atletico Madrid for whom he won a UEFA Europa League title.
While his goal record at Manchester United isn’t the least bit inspiring, his recent injury record might be a source of concern for Fiorentino Perez.
Having been a part of Manchester United for more than 8 months now, the Colombian has made just 16 appearances for them in the Premier League.
During those 16 games in which he played for the Red devils, Falcao completed less than 3 games for the Red devils which epitomizes the claims over his fitness.
However, for Fiorentino Perez who has been a long term admirer of the Colombian, this stat isn’t providing any hindrance as he is ready to make a big money offer for the Colombian in the summer.
