Soccer News: Head-Coaches that are in danger to be fired

Soccer News:

A lot of teams have been underperforming lately, which has put a lot of pressure on their head-coaches. It is widely known that in the soccer world the head-coaches are constantly being changed because of poor results. In this article, we will discuss managers that could soon be sacked if they don’t start winning points for their teams.

Filippo Inzaghi, AC Milan

Inzaghi has been on this list for almost the entire season, as his team’s form has been up and down all the time. Milan has been in a slump for the last couple of seasons and it has been hard to watch them play. The team from Milano hosted the struggling team of Empoli, but couldn’t manage to beat them. Inazghi’s men took a 1:0 lead, but couldn’t retain it and the match finished as a 1:1 draw, after Milan’s goalkeeper, Diego Lopez was sent off. After this game, Milan has now just one win in six in all competitions and just one in eight in the Serie A alone. This poor form could mean that Inzaghi could soon be released from his post.

Laurent Blanc, PSG

The manager of Paris Saint-Germain, Laurent Blanc hasn’t exactly performed as he was expected to in the last couple of games. The team from France has just one win in the last four games in all competitions. PSG is now third in Ligue 1, as they failed to take advantage of the draws that Marseille and Lyon posted in the last round of the league. PSG led lowly Caen in their last game from Ligue 1, but couldn’t hold on to it and in the end the match ended in a 2:2 draw. Furthermore, Blanc and his men couldn’t take advantage of their domination against Chelsea in the Champions League and finished with a score of 1:1. All these weak results could mean that Blanc could soon be fired from the position of head-coach.

Roger Schmidt, Bayer Leverkusen

The team lead by Roger Schmidt hasn’t exactly played great lately, winning just once in their last five games. Bayer Leverkusen is trying to reach a Champions League spot, however that could prove to be hard if they aren’t winning very often. Schmidt isn’t as close as the previously mentioned coaches to being sacked, but if Leverkusen continues to play poorly, it could turn into a very big possibility. The team is currently at sixth place, four points of the third place.

Sam Allardyce, West Ham United

West Ham United started the season strong, however they have in quite a slump lately. Sam Allardyce’s attacking football hasn’t been performing good in the last couple of games, as his team has won just one time in their last five games. West Ham is currently sitting on eighth place in the Barclay’s Premier League and they were also eliminated from the FA Cup by West Bromwich with a 4-0 score. If Allardyce doesn’t find a solution in the next couple of games, they could be his last leading West Ham United.
