Handball Transfer News: Paris SG building all-star team and Nikolaj Jakobsen extend with Rhein-Neckar

Handball News:

Two big new hit the handball world yesterday. First we got news from Germany giant Rhein-Neckar Lowen that they extend contract with their current coach Nikolaj Jakobsen until 2017. Rhein-Neckar is currently 1st in handball Bundesliga with the same amount of points as second THW Kiel but with slightly better goal difference.  Jakobsen team is also playing EHF Velux Champions League; they are in Group C with Veszprem, Vardar, Montpellier, Celje Pivovarna Lasko and Chekovski Medvedi. After 8 rounds they are holding third place with 10 points.  Rhein-Neckar director Lars Lamada said for club website that Nikolaj is doing a fantastic job. He said that it was important for them to provide continuity on the bench once they determine the team for future challenges. Jacobsen said that he is very comfortable in Lowen and that he has a lot of support for his work.

Big news is coming from probably the richest club in the world Paris Saint-Germain. Some French newspapers publish a story that Paris SG is planning to build a massive all-star team. According to them Paris SG will try to sign Barcelona star Nikola Karabatic along with his  younger brother Luka Karabatic from Paris d’Aix. But that is not all, according to them Paris SG is looking to sign legendary THW Kiel coach Zvonimir “Noka” Serdarusic as their head coach after this season. It remains to see will Barcelona let their best player go and also will Serdarusic accept Paris SG offer or take Croatia national team as that was his wish from a long time now. But before all that comes to life one thing is pretty sure, Kim Andersson is close to signing a deal with Paris SG. One of best left-handed players will probably move to Paris once his medical is done and with France national team star Xavier Barachet will fill RB position. This means that Croatian star Marko Kopljar will probably leave the club in the summer after his contract expires.
