This weekend after winter break EHF Velux Champions League will continue with their group games. Probably the must watch game is derby game of Group B between FC Barcelona and KIF Kolding Kobenhavn. We also have some interesting games in Group A and Group C.
Group A:
In Group a most interesting game will be on Saturday when HC Prvo Plinarsko Drustvo Zagreb is going against Naturhouse La Rioja. Leader of group will play on Sunday THW Kiel against HC Metalurg and Paris Saint-Germain against HC Meshkov Brest.
THW Kiel is leading this group with 14 points; Paris Saint-Germain is second with 10. On third place is HC Prvo Plinarsko Drustvo Zagreb with 8 and Naturhouse La Rioja is on fourth with 7.
Group B:
Group B started in midweek with a game between SG Flensburg against Besiktas, Flensburg manages to get first Europe win in 2015 they were better with 31-27. On Sunday the rest of the group will be playing Alingsas vs. Orlen Wisla Plock and derby game Barcelona against KIF Kolding Kobenhavn.
Barcelona is first with 13 points one point more than second KIF Kolding Kobenhavn and SG Flensburg (who got one game more). On last place that lead into the second round is Orlen Wisla Plock.
Group C:
Similar to Group A in this Group most interesting game will be played first. On Saturday HC Vardar will go against Montpellier it is important game for both of teams. On Sunday we will see a game between Chekovski Medvedi vs. Rhein-Neckar Lowen and MVM Veszprem against RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko.
MVM Veszprem is leading with 14 points; HC Vardar is second with 11. German powerhouse Rhein-Neckar is holding third place with 10 points and France giant Montpellier is on fourth with 8 points.
Group D:
Group D already start competing in this year and what a start. MOL-Pick Szeged second team in group manages to lose against Kadetten Schaffhausen 29-32. In the remaining games on Saturday we will watch KS Vive Tauron Kielce against Dunkerque and on Sunday Aalborg will go against HC Motor Zaporozhe.
KS Vive Tauron Kielce is leader of Group D and only undefeated team in group stage of EHF Velux Champions League. MOL-Pick Szeged is second with 12 points and then we got three teams with 6 points Dunkerque, Aalborg and Kadetten.
