Transfer News: Paris Saint-Germain extend contracts with Igor Vori and Fahrudin Melic, Darko Stanic is leaving Bundesliga until the end of season

Handball News:

Today our handball section we can call “Balkan section” since all players involve are coming from Balkan. First info is coming from France giant Paris Saint-Germain; we got confirmation that they extend the contract with two Balkan players’ Croatian captain and line player Igor Vori and Montenegro right-wing Fahrudin Melic. Both players have huge international experience, both of players arrive in Paris in 2013 and sign a new contract until 2017. General Manager of Paris Saint-Germain Jean-Claude Blanc said that both players are key team players and they (Paris Saint-Germain) are proud to extend the contract with them. Igor Vori arrived in Paris Saint-Germain from Bundesliga Hamburger SV with who he won EHF Champions League; he is also Olympic and World gold medalist with Croatian. Fahrudin Melic arrive in Paris as substitute for Luc Abalo but he proved that they can count on him.

Serbian goalkeeper Darko Stanic is going to leave his current club Bietigheim since he couldn’t help them to avoid relegation. Bietigheim is now last club in Bundesliga and there is little hope that they will improve, club give a legend goalie chance to sign short-term contract with some other club. So until the end of season Darko Stanic will be member of Kuwait team Kuwait Sports Club. With them he will try to win Gulf Cup that is playing in Abu Dhabi from 19 March to 1 April. After the end of the regular season Darko Stanic will join German powerhouse Rhein-Neckar Lowen since they need to fill the gap after their goalkeeper Niklas Landin will be moving to THW Kiel at the end of season.
