Soccer Transfer Rumors: Arturo Vidal available just for £14 million?

Soccer News and Rumors:

Some very curious rumors have been flying around lately and they have been regarding Arturo Vidal and the fact that he may leave Juventus very soon. It has been reported that the player would be available for just £14 million in the next transfer window and if this is true, Manchester United won’t take long before making an attempt to sign the Chilean national player.

This price drop has been as a result from the weak form that Vidal has shown this season, as he has scored just six goals and assisted on two in all competitions he has taken part in. The interesting fact is that all of those have come in Serie A matches, while in the UEFA Champions League and Coppa Italia, Vidal has done, well, almost nothing. His form has been steadily improving recently, but the overall performance isn’t what everyone expected from him when he arrived on Stadio Olimpico. The front office of Juventus is hoping that the sales of both Arturo Vidal and Fernando Llorente will help them in their attempts of keeping star midfielder Paul Pogba. It will be very hard for Juve to actually keep Pogba, but the fact that the club will try to sell Vidal for so little makes us think that they will do everything in their power.

It is expected that Manchester United will try and sign Vidal as soon as he is available, as he is complete midfielder that will help the team ball distribution a lot. If he joins the Red Devils that will mean that Wayne Rooney will be relieved of his role as a midfielder and could finally play as a striker. This will surely help United perform better offensively and that’s why it is expected that the club from Manchester will be trying actively to sign the Chilean. Nevertheless, it’s not like they’ll be the only team trying to get Vidal in their lineup, so they’ll have a lot of competition during the next transfer window.
