Primera Division: Real Madrid reach an agreement with Porto - Danilo is a member of Los Blancos

Soccer, Primera Division News:

It has been officially announced that Real Madrid has signed Danilo, Porto’s full-back, on Tuesday night. The news that the Whites published brought a quick end to all the rumors that surrounded the players in the last couple of months. The current Porto player has agreed to join Real Madrid after the end of the current season. The contract between the player and the club is until the 2020/21 campaign. The fee that the Whites will pay to Porto is €25 million, but it could increase to €30 million based on incentives.

There were a lot of speculations surrounding Danilo lately, as a lot of European clubs wanted him in their starting lineups. Among those teams were the likes of Manchester United, Barcelona, and Real Madrid, but the Whites were always the favorites to sign him. The Brazilian right-back is having a magnificent 2014/15 season, and this is the main reason he has attracted so much attention.

However, the fact that Danilo is now part of Real Madrid raises some concerns. The Whites currently own a terrific player at the same position and his names is Dani Carvajal. The Spaniard is also having a terrific season, and it would be very interesting for everyone to see who is going to receive more playing time next year.

If Carvajal loses his starting spot, the fans will definitely be a bit disappointed. Danilo is a player that will add a lot to Real Madrid’s game and thanks to him the club will surely be among the favorites to win it all. Let’s just hope that the Brazilian star and Carvajal will receive an equal amount of playing, because it will be a shame for the current starting right-back to sit and watch from the sidelines.
