Today we got a new info about career of Juventus player Paul Pogba; 22 years old French midfielder was one of main topics in both summer and winter transfer window. All big clubs were battling for possibility to sing him Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, Manchester City and United.
But at the end Pogba stayed in Juventus. Club official even said couple of times that they don’t need to sell Paul Pogba and will do that only if player demand to leave the club. But now we got information that Paul Pogba might be leaving Juventus in January 2016. According to some sources Paul Pogba is on the top of Barcelona “shopping list”. Since Barcelona is under FIFA transfer ban, they are not allowed to sign new players for the next two transfer windows, their ban expire in January 2016. According to the same sources Barcelona might offer Pogba a pre-contract and leave him in Juventus until the ban is lift, once the ban is lift he would join Barcelona and sign a new contract. That these speculations are true we got confirmation from Juventus sport director Pavel Nedved, he confirm that Barcelona is very interesting in buying Pogba and that they might send pre-contract this summer.
Pogba got a contract with Juventus until August 2019 and it’s hard to decide his value. If we are going to believe Transfermarkt then his price would be around 50 million euros. Juventus officials said several times that Pogba price tag is more likely to be around 80 million euros. Pogba start his career in Le Havre and then moved to Manchester United to play for their U21 team. In season 2012/2013 Juventus sign Pogba as free transfer from United. For Juventus Pogba played 122 games, scoring 23 goals and have 22 assists. This season with Carlos Tevez he is one of best Juventus players.
