Kroos and James best buys in Primera in summer transfer window

Primera Division News:

Organization “Soccerex Transfer Review” presents CDS or Spain national organization in charge for sport management presentation about latest soccer transfers and player participation.

According to them Valencia Enzo Perez is the most expensive signing in Primera division in winter transfer window. Valencia paid Benfica €25 million for this central midfielder, Real Madrid Lucas Silva is on second place with €13 million. On third place is young Argentina striker Correa who moved to Atletico Madrid from San Lorenzo for €7 million.

Soccerex compared Primera winter transfers and this year Perez transfer is on 2nd place in all-time highest winter transfer ever. On first place is Netherland striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who moved from Ajax to Real Madrid in season 2008/2009 for €27 million. On third place is transfer Pablo Aimar from season 2000/2001 who moved from River Plate to Valencia for €21.25 million. Interesting to see is that from top 10 most expensive winter transfer all-time, 6 transfers are from Real Madrid (Huntelaar, Gago, Diarra, Lucas Silva, Higuain and Ze Roberto) and only 1 from Barcelona (Geovanni).

We also had a chance to see the most participation of top 10 signing in season 2014/2015. On first two places are Real Madrid players Toni Kroos, who participate in 96% minutes of Real Madrid games and James Rodriguez with 83%. Third and fourth place are holding Croatian players, on third place is Mario Mandzukic from Atletico Madrid with 73% and on fourth is Ivan Rakitic from Barcelona with 71%. We need to add that Luis Suarez is on 7th place with 51% this season, but if we count only minutes that Barcelona played since his ban is lifted then he would be on 2nd place with 88% time participation.

Valencia has the most stable line up 10 of its players have participated in more than 70% of the total minutes that Valencia played. Real Madrid, Celta and Granada are behind them with 9 key players. Interesting to see is that Barcelona is on the bottom (16th) with only 6 key players.

We saw one interesting slide about home-grown players in Primera and compared it with top clubs from other Europa league. In Primera Division on first place is Athletic Bilbao with 19 home players, Real Sociedad is second with 16 players and on third place is Barcelona with 13 players. Real Madrid is on 8th place with 6 home-grown players.  In compared with the top team from the rest of Europa leagues, on first place is Lyon from France Ligue 1 with 14 home-grown players. Barcelona is second with 13 and on third is Manchester United from Premiership with 12 home-grown players.
