Dunga has not called 14 players who played for Brazil at World Cup for the upcoming Copa America

Soccer News:

Copa America is biggest soccer competition in South America. For the upcoming Copa America Brazilian national coach Dunga didn’t call 14 players that played in last year FIFA World Cup in Brazil. In the last FIFA World Cup Brazil as home team was also one of main teams to take the title. Everything was good for Brazil until the semi-finals and game against Germany. It looks like Brazil never arrived on that game at the end it was 7-1 for Germany. In battle for third place Brazil was again humiliated only this time from Netherland 3-0.

Dunga as savior for Brazil

After Felipe Scolari resign as head coach, Dunga get another chance as Brazil national coach and this will be his first major competition since his arrival. For the upcoming Copa America Dunga didn’t call both goalkeeper from World Cup Julio Cesar and Victor, defenders Daniel Alves, Maicon, Maxwell, Dante and Henrique. From the midfield call didn’t get Paulinho, Hernanes and Ramires while Fred, Hulk, Jo and Bernard will not lead Brazil attack at Copa America.

Neymar new Brazil leader

But even without those 14 players Brazil will still be looking strong and be main contender for Copa America title. Players that will defend Brazil colors in the upcoming Copa America are:

Goalkeepers: Jefferson, Diego Alves and Marcelo Grohe

Defenders: David Luiz, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Miranda, Danilo, Fabinho, Marcelo and Filipe Luis

Midfielders: Luiz Gustavo, Fernandinho, Elias, Casemiro, Everton Ribeiro, Douglas Costa, Willian and Coutinho

Attackers: Neymar, Diego Tardelli, Robinho and Roberto Firmino

Oscar left-out due to injury

This will probably be the team that Dunga will go in battle for the next World Cup. In this team we could add maybe injured Chelsea midfielder Oscar. Dunga explained that he talks with Jose Mourinho and Chelsea doctors and they told him that Oscar isnt 100% ready for Copa America. In 44th edition of Copa America Brazil will be in Group C with Colombia, Peru and Venezuela. They will start against Peru on 14 June. Copa America is playing in Chile and it will be on schedule from 11 June until 4 July.
