Steven Has To Face A Drug Hearing

Matt Steven will have to face a European Rugby Club disciplinary hearing. He has been charged because he has failed to pass the drug test while playing the tournament. The committee hasn't disclosed the date of hearing but according to our resources it would probably held on Thursday.

The ERC's spokesman said that we can't open any detail about the drug or doping case just because of International Rugby Laws. He also added that the results would be announced in front of any one but the hearing and charges would be kept in a secret. He would get a ban of 2-3 years as he has confessed that due to an injury he has gone through such kind of process.

He has been automatically suspended from the English team just due to the case and would remain suspended until any judgment has been made in favor of him or against him. In 2006, Australian Wendell Sailor got a ban of two years and he has a charge against him that he has used a recreational drug.
