Confrontation Between Tom Hicks Camp and Rafael Benitez. Good-bye to Liverpool ?

Sources close to the Liverpool co-owner, Tom Hicks, have answered with dismay that Rafael Benitez is on the brink of saying good-bye to the club of Liverpool.

This morning, the future of Spaniard manager seemed uncertain as rumors swept Liverpool and Madrid suggesting he was leaving Anfield. Due to this report, leading bookmakers has suspended their activity of betting at this club in future; however, despite of antagonism between Benitez and the owners, they will not give permission to manager to walk away.

Benitez is seen in talks over a new contract this month and surprised the hierarchy of club by refusing a deal of fifth draft this weekend. While manager of Liverpool has 18 months less on this contract at Anfield and thinks that if he reaches the end of the season without any serious commitment from George Gillett and Hicks, he would be compelled to search for a new job.
