Duncan Still Out Due To Leg Injury

Tim Duncan, a forward for Spurs, warmed the bench for the second time in a game against Portland due to right quad tendonitis. This decision, to sit out the game, came after he was unable to overcome a stiffness in his knee during warm-ups.

The All-Star player was listed as day-to-day with right leg injury. Those two games were the first that he missed due to injury this season.

San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich said that Duncan's leg had no strength last night but it is not quite bad today. They just have to wait and see if Duncan will be ready for the game against Cleveland on Friday.

The Spurs is already missing Manu Ginobili since the All-Star break due to a right ankle injury, but he is expected to play after a week or so. Fabricio Oberto also suffered a non-displaced fracture in his left thumb during Tuesday's win over Dallas but will still be playing on Wednesday.
