The fight to become the winner of Group H of the UEFA Champions League heated up last night with Tottenham demonstrating a world class performance against the UEFA Champions League holder's Real Madrid with a final result of Tottenham 3 : Real Madrid 1

The quality of Tottenham was definitely a surprise to Real Madrid who were away for this fixture. Pochettino's Tottenham went ahead in the 27th minute with a stunning strike from Dele Alli, and then he scored again in the 56th minute much to the dismay of the visiting Real Madrid fans. Christian Eriksen then added to the wows with a goal in the 65th minute. Real Madrid did pull a goal back in the 80th minute with a great finish from Christiano Ronaldo but it was too late and the game ended 3-1 in favour of Spurs.

Meanwhile Borussia Dortmund vs Apoel Nicosia ended in a 1:1 draw making it very difficult for Borussia Dortmund to qualify for the next stage almost ensuring Real Madrid will go through to the next round also.
